SUMMARY:Community Cultural Ambassador 2026: Move In Dance Theatre "Journeys of Hakka Heroines'" Touring Performances
LOCATION:Venues in Sha Tin district
DESCRIPTION:This project explores the traditional roles of Hakka women known as "Four Heads and Four Ends": "field head and land end" (farming)\, "stove head and pot end" (cooking)\, "needle head and thread end" (sewing)\, and "home head and teaching end" (household and child-rearing). Through the imagery of "weaving"\, it links memories of labour with emotional narratives to raise community awareness of Hakka women and creates an opportunity for inter-generational cultural dialogue.
