About this event

Adults (Ages 24 to 49), New Adults (Ages 19 to 23), Older Adults (Ages 50+). Join Kandi from Green Apple Alpacas to learn more about canning and preservation. See a live demonstration of pressure canning. Bring all your questions! We will discuss dehydration, freeze drying, water bath canning, and pressure canning plus which method to use for your harvest. We will talk about supplies and equipment to make your processes easier. Discover how easy it is to can meat, fish, soup, and broths. You will leave with the confidence to preserve your harvest. Sponsored by the Friends of the Woodmont Library. Registration requested. Walk-ins welcome as space allows. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request.
