About this event

Adults, Elementary, Family, Kids, Tweens. West University Library is going to the dogs! Join us the first Saturday of every month for our program designed to help reluctant or shy readers gain confidence, with the help of some very good dogs. Paws for Therapy will provide trained therapy dogs, ready to help your child practice their reading! Each participant will get 15 minutes to read a book of their choice to a friendly, non-judgemental dog. It’s guaranteed to be a doggone good time. Advanced registration is required; one month at a time****i.e. no registration for the entire year at one time. Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot. You will be contacted 1-2 days before the event with more information, including the time of your spot. As the number of dogs present may vary from session to session, we cannot guarantee the same number of slots for each session.
