About this event

Adults (18+), Teens (14-18 years). Join us at Quincie Douglas Library for a monthly discussion of short fiction on the first Saturday of every month from noon to 12:45 p.m. Copies of each story will be available at the front desk two weeks before the discussion date. Why short stories? A short story must accomplish what a novel does in a fraction of the pages. Together, we'll explore questions such as: How does the author convey meaning so efficiently? What themes or ideas stand out?Which passages resonate most strongly with you? Meet fellow readers and enjoy a lively conversation.
