About this event

Adults: 18 and up, Seniors: 55 and up. Join us for a discussion of the acclaimed book, Freedom Quest: A Love Story, by local author Debora Masterson, which follows a gifted musician named Michael through the Southern California music scene of the 1960s-80s. A cautionary tale about artistic integrity, the pursuit of stardom, and the cost of chasing dreams. From nearly landing a Capitol Records deal, fronting his band Freedom Quest to losing the love of his life, Grace, Michael's story captures the raw reality of what it means to live and breathe music. In addition to discussing the book together as a group, local author Debora Masterson, will be here in attendance live to answer any and all of your questions! For more information about the book and the author: An Interview with Debora Masterson Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
