⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE — PLEASE READ Wow — this walk grew much bigger than expected! ❤️ Because we now have a very large number of RSVPs, I’m making a small change: we will skip meeting before the museum and instead we'll do it after \- read the walk structure below for more details\. PHOTO CHALLENGE: LAYERS. Look for a photograph that has something happening at more than one distance — something close, in the middle, far away; layer to frame, hide, reveal or give depth... Bonus for 3 and 3+ layers. 4:00–6:00 PM — SELF-GUIDED PAMM VISIT There will be no group meetup at 4:00 PM inside the museum. Please arrive at PAMM on your own, enter individually, and explore the museum at your own pace. We would naturally scatter once inside anyway, and with a group this large, trying to gather everyone in the lobby would be difficult and could interfere with normal museum operations. Take your time. Wander. Photograph. Get lost in something interesting. 6:00–6:20 PM — OUR GROUP MEETUP This will be our official hello! After leaving the museum through the gift shop/café area, come outside to the waterfront terrace facing Maurice A. Ferré Park. Look for the cascading benches leading toward the park. I’ll be sitting around the middle of the benches wearing a pumpkin-orange hat 🎃🧡, so hopefully I’ll be difficult to miss! We’ll allow about 15–20 minutes for everyone to find us, say hello, and regroup. Around 6:20 PM — PHOTOWALK From there, we’ll head together into Maurice A. Ferré Park for our photowalk — waterfront, sculptures, palms, architecture, people, reflections and whatever else catches our eyes. BONUS: we will head to the Bayside Marketplace (5–10 min walk) with a lot of outdoor eateries which are great for people-watching and live music. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR RSVP This event was originally scheduled quite a while ago and postponed, so I suspect our heroic number of 84 RSVPs may include a few people whose plans have changed. 😄 If you can no longer make it, please update your RSVP.
