Evening Walk Riverside: Nangang to Xihu

About this event

The riverside park is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Get some exercise and meet new people along the way! We meet at 7.30PM at Nangang Train Station, exit 2A. From here we will walk directly to the river, we will follow the path until we reach Songshan. Here we cross the lovely rainbow bridge and continue on the North side of the river, all the way to Xihu MRT. The river is wide here and most of the time offers a nice breeze. The walk is about 9km and will take us about 2,5 hours incl. a short break. Although it's not intense walking, but make sure you can walk this long in whatever kind of weather the day brings us. At the end of the walk we will be able to enjoy a drink together (possibly in the park). But no obligations to stay around for this if you prefer going home or elsewhere. • A 50NTD voluntary contribution is appreciated to cover Meetup expenses. • Bring enough water and snacks needed • Wear suitable clothing and shoes for walking • Make sure you are a proper walker that can keep up the tempo • This is a free event organized by volunteers. You yourself are fully responsible for your participation and wellbeing. • Be flexible, friendly and willing to make everyone feel welcome. • On the waiting list? Sorry you can't attend. Signed up but cannot make it? Remove your name asap so others can participate. Meeting point: Nangang TRAIN station, exit 2a https://maps.app.goo.gl/vgsdVAix1r8D4A6i9 See you then and there!
