Getting Started with AWS: Builder Center, Skill Builder, and the Console

About this event

Our first meetup, online. 90 minutes, on Discord. Members only. Event completion certificate after event. Most people starting with AWS don't get stuck on the technology. They get stuck on where to go. There are three places you'll actually live in, and nobody explains what each one is for or how they fit together. That's what this session fixes. We'll open with the certification map so you know what you're working toward, then walk through Builder Center, Skill Builder, and the AWS Console together. You'll leave knowing which exam to aim at first, where to study for it, and what you're looking at when you open the Console. No AWS experience needed. No account needed either, we'll cover how to set one up safely on your own after.
