About this event

Children (Ages 6-12). Birds are not just related to dinosaurs; they are dinosaurs! Modern birds evolved from small, carnivorous dinosaurs in the Late Jurassic period. Wingmasters rehabilitate raptors that include eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls. This presentation will incorporate five live birds. Children aged 6-12 will learn about conservation efforts for these wild animals. Summer Reading at the BPL is generously supported by the Boston Public Library Fund. Visit bpl.org/summer for information. We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, please contact [email protected] or call 617-427-3337. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange for accommodations.
