Basket Weaving with Invasive Ivy

Teens. Spend an afternoon at Renfrew Ravine, where environmental stewardship meets hands-on creativity. In this workshop led by Still Moon Arts Society, we'll start by removing invasive ivy. Then, instead of tossing it aside, we'll weave it into baskets you can take home. It's a satisfying way to turn an ecological problem into something beautiful and useful. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty. While we weave, we'll talk and learn about the ravine, its plants and animals, and what makes this hidden green space worth protecting. For teens ages 13-18. Registration Required.
