🌍 Solo Travelers & Remote Workers Social｜台北獨旅者＋遠距工作者交流夜 Traveling solo in Taipei or working remotely and looking to meet new people? 🌏💻 Come join a relaxed international social night with solo travelers, remote workers, freelancers, digital nomads, expats, and locals. You don’t have to be a remote worker to join. If you’re traveling solo, new in Taipei, interested in remote work or travel, or simply want to make new friends, you’re very welcome. Just come have a drink, meet people, and chat about travel, work, life, hobbies — anything really. 👋 Who is this for? You’re welcome if you are: • 🧳 A solo traveler in Taipei • 💻 A remote worker or freelancer • 🌍 A digital nomad • ✈️ Someone who loves travel • 🏙️ New in Taipei • 🤝 A local who wants to meet international people • ✨ Simply looking to make new friends 🌍 Language We’ll mainly communicate in English. No Chinese is required. Your English doesn’t need to be perfect — basic conversational English is enough. 🎲 What happens? This is a relaxed social night, not a formal networking event. Coming alone is completely fine — that’s what this event is for. After attending, you’ll also be invited to join our Taipei Remote Workers WhatsApp group and stay connected with people you meet. ✅ How to Join Simply click “Attend” on Meetup. That’s all you need to do for now. No payment is needed when you first RSVP. Once we have enough people, we’ll send an update with the final event details and payment options. 🎟️ Event Fee NT$300 🍹 Drinks are purchased separately at the venue, approximately NT$200+. However, seating depends on remaining availability and is not guaranteed for guests paying at the venue. 🙌 Minimum group size The event will run once we have at least 6 participants. You can RSVP on Meetup first without paying. Once we have enough people, we’ll update everyone with the final details and payment options. 🪑 Group size We want to keep the group small enough for conversations to feel natural. Around 20 spots available. Online payment gives priority for seating.
