Edmonton Writers' Group: Creative Writing Workshops

Adult. Edmonton Writers' Group presents a series of creative writing workshops for beginner-level authors, leading participants through the stages of writing and supporting the development of personal manuscripts. Please note: Working toward the goal of writing the first draft of a story, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions, as they build on those previously offered. Writers should also bring a notebook or laptop with them to help capture and share their ideas with the group as the series progresses. Session III: Other Characters In this session we will finish with your protagonist and antagonist and then look at the other characters you'll need to round out your story and have it make sense. Some of these will by necessity need to be created ahead of time, but others can easily be made up as you need them.
