Asian Premiere A pointed, poignant drama about the unseen roots of abuse When her daughter confesses responsibility for the death of the school dog, a mother turns a parent–teacher meeting into a dangerous discussion. Inspired by the playwright’s experiences with bullying during childhood and adolescence, the piece examines abuse within educational systems, with a focus on silence, normalisation, and institutional responsibility. The writing of the play serves as a means of healing from traumatic experiences and an opportunity to resonate with abuse survivors who encounter the play.
