Edmonton Writers' Group: Creative Writing Workshops

Adult. Edmonton Writers' Group presents a series of creative writing workshops for beginner-level authors, leading participants through the stages of writing and supporting the development of personal manuscripts. Please note: Working toward the goal of writing the first draft of a story, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions, as they build on those previously offered. Writers should also bring a notebook or laptop with them to help capture and share their ideas with the group as the series progresses. Session VII: Middles – Keeping Your Readers Reading This session will deal with how to avoid the dreaded “Sagging Middle Syndrome”, something that plagues many writers and can cause readers to completely lose interest in your story.
