About this event

Adult. Completing applications online can be challenging, especially when you are new to English and new to technology. Newcomers to Edmonton can visit an Edmonton Public Library to get 30 minutes of technology help from a community volunteer as you navigate online application forms. Volunteers can help you with the technology tasks needed to complete applications for: - immigration activities - employment opportunities - income subsidy - educational activities - finding housing Please note: Your application may take longer than 30 minutes to complete and independent work may be required. What to bring: - Details on the online location of the application form. - Documentation or information needed to complete the application. - A USB key or access to an online drive where documents can be saved. - Optional: Your personal device or laptop. Please be aware that the volunteer will help with the technology aspects of completing the application. The volunteer does not provide advice or interpretation of the content needed to complete the application form. To register for a 30 minute appointment with a volunteer at the Sprucewood branch, please call: 780-496-7099
