Back to School: Free Public Speaking Practice This Saturday on Zoom
About this event
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to speak with real confidence? Come find out at the Storytellers Toastmasters club Zoom meeting this Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time! It is free, it is welcoming, and you can join right from home! What Is Toastmasters? Toastmasters is a worldwide community where people build public speaking and leadership skills in a friendly, supportive setting. You do not need to prepare anything, and you do not need any experience. You will watch real people give real speeches, and you will see how kind, honest feedback helps them grow. What Is Special This Week Our theme is “Back to School.” Two members give their very first speech, the classic Ice Breaker that every Toastmaster starts with. Come cheer them on and see where the journey begins. Why You Should Come 1. Pick up practical speaking tips just by watching 2. Enjoy prepared speeches, a funny story, and lively impromptu storytelling 3. Meet a warm, encouraging group of people 4. Take part from the comfort of home When Saturday, September 5 Zoom room opens at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time Meeting runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time Where https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84775495760?pwd=0WElFdBH4dtdGPY4AoG4Fcg7aCid78.1 What to Expect as a Guest You will introduce yourself briefly at the start, and you may get a fun question so you can try a little speaking yourself.
