About this event

Adults (18+). Pima County Public Library’s Kindred Team invites you to Read Black! Join us as we further the conversation on Black literature, history, and culture. This monthly book club will include alternating months of conversations about books focused on the Black experience, both fictional and real. On odd months, we'll read a book together, with a facilitated discussion guided by a member of the Kindred team. On even months, attendees will come ready to discuss one or more books by and about Black folks, and a list of books discussed will be made for the library website. Looking for a new book to read?
