Hello HnT Crew! We’re taking on an iconic urban-to-nature route through the heart of Hong Kong Island! Join us as we trek up the Central Green & Heritage Trail all the way to Victoria Peak! 🌙 • Length: \~4.5 km (Point-to-point) • Difficulty: Moderate (Paved, well-marked trail, but continuous uphill climbs) • Time: 2.5 - 3.5 hours (Depending on our pace and photo stops along the historic sites!) • Elevation Gain: \~400 m total • Supplies: Convenience stores and cafes near Central/Mid-Levels, plus full dining, rest stops, and shops at the Peak Galleria and Peak Tower. 📍 Meeting Point: Chater Garden Fountain (Central MTR Exit J2) ⚠️ Important Notice: Punctuality & Waiting Policy Please make every effort to arrive on time at the Chater Garden Fountain so we can stick to our schedule and keep the event running smoothly. ⏱️ 10-Minute Grace Period: Organizers will only wait a maximum of 10 minutes past our designated meeting time at the fountain. If you are running late and we have not received an update from you, we will start moving without you. ✅ Reminders: • Bring at least 1.5–2L of water • Wear comfortable walking or trail shoes with good grip (slopes can be steep) • Light snacks or energy bars • Headlamps 🔦 • Octopus card or cash for transport and snacks • Fully charged phone or camera for the skyline views • Lastly, good vibes! Additional Notes: • 📝 Digital Sign-off: There will be a digital sign-off sheet acknowledging that the organizers are not responsible for any injuries sustained during the hike. • ✊ Respect the Trail: Pass through residential zones and green heritage sites respectfully. Keep noise levels reasonable, and always pack out your own trash. • 🩹 Safety First: First Aid is covered!
