Taipei International Students Welcome Night｜Locals, Expats & Travelers Welcome 🎓🌏 I’ve studied at language schools abroad before, and I still remember how much welcome events made me enjoy those cities more — meeting people, discovering local places, and feeling more connected. I’ve been organizing social events in Taipei for over two years, and I’d love to create the same feeling for people who are new here. Whether you’re an international student, exchange student, traveler, expat, or local, I hope this night helps you feel welcome, meet people more easily, enjoy Taipei nightlife, and discover more of the city. 🌏👋 New to Taipei? Come meet locals, travelers and other newcomers. Already living here? Come share your favorite food, neighborhoods, nightlife and local tips with people who just arrived. *** What’s happening? 1F｜Social・Darts 🎯 Grab a drink, chat and meet people in a relaxed setting. Our host will be there to welcome everyone, make introductions and help conversations get started, so coming alone is totally fine. 2F｜Karaoke・Music・Pickleball Friends 🎤🏓 Sing, listen to music, hang out, or connect with local pickleball players. Note: We won’t play pickleball at the venue. It’s a chance to meet future playing partners and exchange contacts. You can freely move between both floors. You don’t have to sing karaoke. *** After 10 PM｜Optional Bar Hopping 🌃 Want to keep the night going? After the meetup, anyone who wants to continue can form a group and head out for optional bar hopping. Have another drink, explore Taipei nightlife, or simply keep hanging out with the people you just met. Totally optional. Transportation, additional drinks, and any venue entrance fees are not included in the NT$350 ticket. *** Event Details 🕢 7:30–10:00 PM 📍 MTB TeaBar 米蓮娜茶酒吧 1F, No. 66, Sec. 3, Heping East Rd., Da’an District, Taipei 🎟️ NT$350 Includes one drink. — pay at the door Alcoholic and alcohol-free options are available. 🎓 Student Special Show your student ID and enjoy TEABar student drink prices until midnight. *** FAQ Do I need to be an international student? No. Locals, expats, international travelers and non-students are all welcome. I’m only visiting Taipei. Can I join? Absolutely. International travelers are very welcome. Can I come alone? Yes. Our host will be there to welcome you and help you meet people. Do I have to sing karaoke? No. You can chat, play darts, listen to music or move freely between both floors. Do we play pickleball at the event? No. You can meet local players upstairs and find people to play with another day. Is the bar hopping included in the ticket? No. It’s completely optional, and any transportation, drinks, or entrance fees afterward are paid separately. *** Join Us Please RSVP here first — it only takes about 1 minute.
