About this event

Adults: 18 and up, Teens: 13 to 19 years. Does the beginning of the school year give you less time to cook during the week? What could you make over the weekend that you could portion out all week? What shortcuts could you keep at home to make satisfying meals quickly? This workshop series will introduce participants to ideas around cooking on a budget and meal-planning, before an interactive zine-making activity. We’ll provide art supplies and a selection of “quick and easy” cookbooks. Participants can choose topics such as cataloging favorite meals and snacks, mapping out a sample collection of meals, or choosing a few simple recipes to try. Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please call (312) 747-8184 or email [email protected] to request accommodations.
