Convinced her mother was unhappy because of her family life, Xiaoling seizes the chance to rewrite her fate—giving her a new husband, a new daughter, and a new life. Comedian Jia Ling writes, directs, and stars in her debut feature, based on her popular sketch of the same name. She expands the story with tender mother-daughter moments and period details, creating a richer, more touching film. Free Admission with ticket.
