Adults: 18 and up. Discover stories behind the art. Join us for a librarian-led walking tour exploring selected commissioned artworks throughout the Obama Presidential Center campus. Beginning at the Obama Presidential Center Branch Library, this guided experience invites participants to discover the stories behind the artwork and the artists who created it. As we explore the campus, we’ll examine the inspiration, symbolism, and cultural significance of each work while encouraging observation, personal reflection, and thoughtful interpretation. Along the way, you’ll also discover books, artists, and related resources from the library’s collection that deepen the conversation and provide opportunities for continued learning.
