In the event you cannot make it, we kindly ask that you change your RSVP to "Not Going" to allow space for someone else to attend. About the instructor: Meet Libby, *RYT*®200 (also a Rockville Vegan!) Not knowing what to expect, Libby signed up for her friend’s community yoga class in spring of 2014. Noticing the physical, mental and spiritual benefits yoga provided, Libby dabbled in yoga classes trying to find her niche for a few years thereafter. When Libby moved to DC in 2017 she fully hopped on the yoga train and began to regularly practice yoga as a refuge from the “hustle and bustle” of everyday life. Finding solace in stillness, Libby is very much drawn to yoga’s passive postures. She integrates a range of seated poses at the end of class so her students feel grounded and refreshed. A true believer in making yoga accessible for all, Libby encourages students to be themselves, honor themselves and express themselves on and off the mat. Libby completed her RYT-200 training in 2018, and has additional certifications in Yin Yoga (2020) and Accessible Yoga (2020). She recently took a continuing education course in vinyasa krama (sequencing) and is excited to share what she has learned with you! See you on the mat!
