Harbor & Horizons: A Summer Walk Along the Hudson River

On **August 22,** we’re taking a summer evening stroll along the Hudson River, ending with great food, sunset views, and one of NYC’s most underrated rooftop parks. Join us as we walk the Hudson River Greenway from Lower Manhattan to Pier 57, taking in waterfront views, passing some of the city’s most scenic stretches, and finishing the night with food and golden hour overlooking the river. 📍 Meetup: Rockefeller Park at 5:00 PM. We’ll spend 30 minutes mingling before beginning the walk. Along the way, we’ll pass through some of NYC’s most scenic spots: • Battery Park - waterfront views, sea breezes, and a relaxed gathering spot before we begin. • Hudson River Greenway - a scenic waterfront path with views of the Hudson River and passing boats. • Pier 57 - home to Market 57, a food hall curated by the James Beard Foundation featuring a variety of international food vendors. • Rooftop Park at Pier 57 - enjoy your meal while watching the sunset over the Hudson River with panoramic views of Little Island and the Manhattan waterfront. 🚶 Walk: Approximately 3 miles at a relaxed pace (\~1 hour 15 minutes) 🍴 Arrival at Market 57: Around 7:00 PM, giving everyone plenty of time to grab food before the vendors close. 🌅 Sunset: Around 8:30 PM from the Pier 57 Rooftop Park. 🌆 Tips for Enjoying the Walk: • Wear comfortable shoes • Bring water It’s free to join.
