Quad skaters, inline skaters, and bicyclists are all welcome! Logistics & Staging • Date & Time: Meet at 10:00 AM \| Roll out at 10:10 AM sharp! • Skate Leader: Justine • Meeting Location: Freedom Plaza – Southwest corner under the trees (near Pennsylvania Ave NW & 14th St NW) • GPS Address: 1325 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004 Important Staging Notice: Due to recent requests from Park Police and security to keep the newly renovated plaza clear, please do not skate or congregate on the open plaza surface. From there, we roll down East Capitol Street toward the skate park near RFK Stadium, cross over to the Anacostia Skate Pavilion, and pass Nationals Stadium on the return loop back to Freedom Plaza. • Route Map: View the Route on GMap-Pedometer (https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7528392&utm_source=gemini) Estimated Completion Times • Casual (4.5 mph): \~2 hours 44 minutes • Balanced (7.0 mph): \~1 hour 45 minutes • Fast (11.0 mph): \~1 hour 07 minutes What to Bring • Skates or bicycle (quads and inlines welcome!) • Helmet and protective gear (strongly encouraged) • Water and hydration supplies See everyone under the trees on Sunday!
