Surprise Chat is an open-ended spontaneous conversation, preferably about one or more ideas you're curious about. No topics ahead of time or at the beginning, just spontaneous. I've decided, because of a tip offered to me that I enjoy, to set a rule for this type of conversation.The new rule for Surprise Chat is: stray away from conversation about politics or religion. These subjects are more likely to be divisive than most subjects, and during this free-for-all topic conversation format, and I've been concerned that this is an issue.
