Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all types of work welcome)

We are trying a new event format and venue on weekday! Note: There is a $10 entrance fee for the event What you will get: 1\. Dedicated workspace until 6pm \(U\.P\. $20\) 2\. Coffee and drinks from the pantry 3\. Internet and charging ports New event location: O2 Work, Odeon Tower Level 22 & 23 (City Hall) Hey everyone! We organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but feel working alone at home can get a bit lonely :-) To ensure that we have both socialising AND working, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique: 50min of deep work (silent), followed by 10min of break to socialise. Then repeat, we typically do up to 3 rounds. It’s an effective way to stay focused - you can read more about it here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique). Anyone from any background is welcome, whatever project you are working on or whatever is your personal background. ——————————————————- AGENDA: • 15min Intro (please come on time) Get to know everyone, talk about what you will work on today • Pomodoro Session \- 3x \(3h\) Each Pomodoro session consists of 50min of uninterrupted “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, no phones) -> then 10min of break: share your progress with others, talk about what you are stuck on etc. -> Repeat • Wrap Up, Lunch or Continue Working (optional) Share your progress, socialise and get to know others 😊 ———— Location is O2 Work (331 North Bridge Road Odeon Towers, Level 22 & 23, 188720 · Singapore). Find the guard at level 1. Scan the QR code and fill in your particulars. You will receive an SMS with a link to a QR code. Use the QR code at the elevator and head up to level 22. Look for Ray at the counter.
