Unbox EKCC 2026: Research and Development Project: "Don’t stop, catch up, walk on"

Site-specific Performance × Moving-image Installation Physical boundaries fade as bodies move forward. Conceived by multi-disciplinary artist GayBird, this site-specific performance is an artistic research experiment which challenges the notion of performance in the digital age and exploring immersion as a spectrum, by bringing together virtual game environments, mediated soundwalk, immersive sound, moving images and human behaviour. EKCC’s public spaces are transformed into a stage – every movement in the crowd, and ambient sounds become dramaturgy, generating a new narrative and soundscape. As media intervene, the physical performance venue dissolves into virtuality, inviting the audience to reflect on how daily life is reshaped under ongoing technological advancement and how humanity keeps up with this evolution.

場域特定演出 × 流動影像裝置 當肉身沿著指示前行，現實的邊界將消融於虛擬之中。 由跨媒體藝術家梁基爵策劃，結合虛擬遊戲空間、聲音步行、沉浸式聲效、影像和人類行為的藝術研究實驗，探索數碼時代下「表演」的概念，開發漸進式沉浸體驗的可能性。 東九公共空間將化身舞台，人群動態和環境聲音統統轉化成表演的一部分，構成嶄新的敘事和聲景；實體的演出場地，在媒體的介入下逐步消融於虛擬之中，引導觀眾反思在科技不斷進步的框架下，日常生活如何被重新塑造，人類又如何趕上這場演化。
