Are We Wasting Our Lives? Seneca and the Art of Using Time Wisely with Natani Cruz How much of our lives do we truly live, and how much of our time simply passes by? More than two thousand years ago, Seneca reflected on a question that remains remarkably relevant: why do we often feel life is too short, while at the same time letting so much of it slip away? For Seneca, the value of life is not measured by its length, but by how consciously we use the time we're given. Our attention, choices, priorities, and relationships all reveal what we consider worthy of our limited time. In this talk, we will explore Seneca’s philosophical reflections on time and consider what it means to live deliberately rather than simply remain occupied.
