About this event

Please join us this Sunday to discuss the philosophy of caring, hosted by Nick. We will meet at the Captain Melville at 2pm for a 2:15pm start sharp Please note the new $5 mandatory donation entry fee (cash or transfer on day) to help with MeetUp subscription costs There is no pre-requisite preparation necessary, nor a philosophical background, all that is required is a curious mind. These discussions are both a Socrates Cafe style discussion and lively metaphysical dojo in the spirit of learning and friendly debate. We welcome your reflections on the topic, in addition feel free to question assumptions and be prepared to have your own assumptions questioned This event is also posted to the Philosophy Circle group Possible areas of discussion: What does it mean to care for something/someone? When should we care? Who/what should we care for? Why should we care (about anything)? How do you care for something? What responsibilities do we have in giving and receiving care? And it's open to any other questions or curiosities about this topic people might have on the day! Hope to see you there!
