SAMURAI GAME®: AN IMMERSIVE AWARENESS EXPERIENCE What becomes visible when our choices begin to matter? The Samurai Game® is an immersive experiential learning process that brings awareness, responsibility, cooperation and decision-making out of the realm of theory and into direct experience. Participants enter a carefully facilitated environment in which they respond to changing circumstances, make choices, interact with others and experience how those choices influence what happens next. The experience creates an opportunity to notice how you think, act and relate when familiar habits and assumptions are challenged. WHO IS IT FOR? The Samurai Game® is relevant for leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, coaches and professionals who are curious about how they make choices, relate to others and respond when situations become less predictable. It may be particularly valuable if you want to: • become more aware of your personal and leadership patterns • explore how you make meaningful decisions • examine responsibility, courage and commitment • experience how trust and cooperation develop • understand how you respond to uncertainty and change • notice how your actions influence other people • move beyond talking about leadership and experience yourself in action WHY JOIN? Much leadership and personal-development work relies on discussion, models and case studies. The Samurai Game® offers something different: an opportunity to experience yourself in action and then reflect on what you noticed. The Game may make visible patterns that are difficult to recognise in everyday professional or personal life. It can invite reflection on authority, cooperation, setbacks, individual and collective interests, and the choices we make when outcomes are uncertain. There are no prescribed answers and you are not being evaluated. The value lies in what you notice, the choices you make and the meaning you draw from the experience. And importantly, the full day is not 11½ hours of continuous intensity. The central Samurai Game® itself lasts approximately three hours. The surrounding programme includes preparation, accessible embodied exercises, a substantial dinner and processing break, and a relaxed facilitated debrief in which the experience can settle and be explored. DO I NEED MARTIAL ARTS EXPERIENCE? No. The Samurai Game® is not a martial arts competition, combat exercise or physical endurance test. No martial arts experience is required.
