It looks like not raining this area this Saturday. I have been here for so many times so we decided to go a bit different route including the new 淡江大橋. Sorry no ferry this time XD Plan and Schedule • 10:30 Meet at 蘆洲捷運站出口1 (Luzhou MRT station Exit 1) (https://maps.app.goo.gl/LeNANgXDWmivRgq7A) • We won't be waiting for latecomers. Late cancellations or no-shows may be banned. • 10:30 Take the taxis or bus 橘20 / 785 • 11:00 Get off at 觀音里 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/nVwQZ7gwF4b2Yrz98) • 11:00 Start hiking (no restroom) - No drunk hiking • \~12:00 Lunch • \~17:00 Walking on 淡江大橋 • \~18:00 Dinner at 淡水 • \~19:00 淡水 MRT station • \~20:00 Home Trail • Level: 6 / 10 • Distance: 16.4K(12K walk on regular paved road, downhill/flat) 6-7 hours • Ascent/descent: 631m/793m • Trail condition (4.5K): Rugged and dirt paths, some steep sections, rope sections, slippery. • Route: 觀音山小北插-鷹仔尖-硬漢嶺-八里渡船頭-八里左岸自行車道-淡江大橋-淡水老街 • Highlights: 360 view at the top of 觀音山, 淡江大橋 sunset What to bring / prepare • Lunch and snacks • 2-3L of water • Easy card • Cash to split the bill like dinner or taxis • Umbrella / raincoat / sunscreen / mosquito repellent / gloves / power bank / headlamp Notes: 1. Must have offline map if you want to go faster or leave earlier, the organizer is not responsible for your private schedule. 2. Turn around then run as fast as you can if hornets attack. DO NOT SWAT at any hornets around you!! 3.
