About this event

Broadcast to Boardroom: Build Your Signature Voice & Presence Your voice carries confidence, credibility and presence long before your audience has fully processed your words. So how do you train it? Join LCS Toastmasters for a special hands-on voice and executive-presence workshop with Rebecca Low. 📅 3 October 2026 🕑 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM 📍 National Library Building - Launch, Programme Room (Level 7) Rebecca spent 25 years in broadcast news and was involved in the creation of Channel NewsAsia. She subsequently trained journalists and presenters in live reporting, interviews, voice-overs and on-camera delivery, and today works with senior executives, leaders, public figures and media spokespeople. What will we explore? You’ll learn how to: • Recognise rushing, monotony and weak endings • Develop better breath support • Release vocal tension • Create resonance without pushing or shouting • Improve articulation • Use pace, pitch and pauses effectively • Finish sentences with authority
