Welcome Meetup: Tea, Introductions & Yoga Session
About this event
📍 Meeting Point: Sarutahiko Coffee The Bridge Harajuku 猿田彦珈琲 The Bridge 原宿駅店 https://maps.app.goo.gl/ADKG39eCra7oZujd9 Our second gathering is another opportunity to meet one another in a relaxed setting over tea or coffee. If you missed our first Meetup because of the timing, now is another opportunity. Whether you're interested in yoga, meditation, qi gong, tai chi, or simply connecting with like-minded people, you're warmly welcome. We'll introduce ourselves, share what brought us here, and talk about what we'd like this community to become. I would like to create new events based on the interests of the group and hope to lead some discussions or practices in the future. My hope is that although I am a teacher, that this group grows into a supportive space where we can learn from one another, practice together, and create meaningful friendships. If you are also a teacher, let's create opportunities for you to share your teachings as well. After our café meetup this time (9:30-11:00), anyone who would like to continue is welcome to join my nearby yoga class from (11:00) at: 📍Regional Community Center Jingūmae 渋谷区 神宮前 地域交流センターhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/zfpN6Tw7fjZhYcc6A (Drop in fee: ¥1,000). If I can't reserve the community center, the yoga class after the Meetup may be moved to the park if it is sunny (updates will be posted the day before): Yoyogi Park Olive Garden オリーブ広場 https://maps.app.goo.gl/WstW37ch4r462F4m9 This is completely optional and not 'part of the meetup'—there is absolutely no expectation or obligation to attend the yoga class. The Meetup itself is free, and you're welcome to come simply to meet the group and enjoy the conversation. There will be other opportunities to meet in different locations in the future. There will also be opportunities to do yoga with me for free, or if you are a teacher, perhaps lead the group. As we grow, we'll explore a variety of free gatherings together, including tea meetups, meditation, qi gong, tai chi, yoga in the park, walks or hikes, work with tarot cards and other wellness activities inspired by the interests of the group. (I personally would love to lead a retreat one day in Kita-Kamakura.) I look forward to meeting you and seeing where this journey takes us!
