SUNAYANA - Eye Care
About this event
SUNAYANA – Yogic science for Eye Care Practices In today’s world, our eyes are constantly engaged — from computers and phones to television and other digital screens. Prolonged screen use can contribute to eye strain, tiredness and discomfort. Sunayana is a set of simple and systematic yogic practices from the Classical Hatha Yoga tradition, designed to support the health and wellbeing of the eyes. The practices work with the eye muscles and surrounding structures through gentle, focused movements, helping to relax and refresh the eyes while developing greater awareness of the visual system leading to improve eyesight. Sunayana also works to balance the functioning of the right and left eyes, supporting greater harmony and coordination in the visual system. It can be particularly beneficial for people experiencing myopia (short-sightedness) or hyperopia (long-sightedness) as a complementary yogic practice. With regular practice and proper diet, Sunayana can become a simple and practical part of your daily routine — especially for those who spend many hours working or studying with screens. Practice time: approximately 20 minutes Suitable from 8 years old and above Requirement: recommended for those who regularly practise Classical Hatha Yoga such as Angamardana, Surya Shakti, Surya Kriya, Yogasanas or Upa Yoga. Give your eyes a moment to rest, reconnect and experience greater clarity.
