About this event

We will be reading "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley. Many argue that Frankenstein is the first ever sci-fi book, others see it as more horror than science fiction-- come debate if playing god is at the heart of science fiction. Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley | Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35031085-frankenstein) We will be meeting at GameOn Bar. So, please come join us for some discussion and a drink and/or food. As per usual we are crowd-sourcing book ideas and voting on the top books. We encourage you to add votes since this is how we choose the top candidates for in-person voting DC Science Fiction Book Club Suggestions - Google Sheets (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mprXaa6bcEW5EL_uprN16-RBcetO6pbqA4vHDTjtowI/edit?gid=0#gid=0) Please note we have put a cap on attendees this time, so please change your rsvp if you're no longer able to make it
