Successful Product Management in the Age of AI - with Roman Pichler

About this event

Many organizations have invested in product transformation to become more customer-focused, accelerate innovation, improve financial performance, and build more engaged teams. Yet the reality has often fallen short of expectations. Instead of acting as intrapreneurs and value creators, product managers often become trapped in coordinating stakeholder requests, managing feature backlogs, and firefighting delivery issues. Why does this happen? Is modern product management flawed? How does AI change the picture? And what has to be done to apply product management effectively in the age of AI? In Roman’s talk, he’ll share practical lessons from more than 15 years of helping organizations adopt a product operating model and build product-oriented ways of working. Roman will explore what it truly takes to make modern AI-optimized product management effective — including the organizational structures, leadership support, and empowerment that product teams need to succeed. Roman Pichler is an internationally recognized product management expert, keynote speaker and advisor to executive teams. He's the author of Strategize and How to Lead in Product Management, and creator of the Product Vision Board, GO Product Roadmap, and Strategy Stack.
