About this event

What Is It About? World Mental Health Day is a gentle reminder that your well-being matters, and to give yourself permission to slow down, rest, and exist without pressure. It is about recognizing the invisible weight we each carry, acknowledging that it is okay not to be okay at times, and creating spaces where mental well-being is treated as a form of necessary self-care. By warm request from our community following our last wellness gathering, we’ll be having another gentle afternoon together. You are welcome to participate from the comfort of home, or drop by the park if you’d like some company. In the case of rain, we will move from the park to indoor nearby. What to Expect There’s no single way to rest or practice self-care whether on your own or with company. Feel free to join us just as you are, or bring along something you enjoy: 📖 Read a book 🎵 Listen to music 🎨 Draw, paint, or craft 🧘 Meditate or practice mindfulness ✍️ Journal or reflect 🌳 Relax and enjoy nature 💬 Have quiet conversations and connect with others 🌼 Or simply sit, breathe, and do nothing at all This is a flexible, easygoing gathering. You don’t have to participate in any specific activity or talk to anyone if you don't feel like it. Come for as little or as long as you’d like, and enjoy the space in whatever way feels most restorative to you. Who Is It For? ✧ Anyone looking to practice self-care alongside a supportive community ✧ Anyone feeling overwhelmed, tired, or needing a pause from a busy week ✧ Anyone who enjoys calm, relaxing gatherings
