🚀 Build an AI Study Buddy on AWS — Day 1 Welcome to Day 1 of our 3-Day Hands-on AWS Workshop, where you will start building a real generative AI application step by step. Instead of learning cloud services separately, this workshop follows one complete project — an AI Study Buddy. The application will eventually take a student's notes and generate a short summary along with five quiz questions. On Day 1, we focus on the foundations required to build the application safely and prototype the idea without writing code. 🎯 What you'll learn • What cloud computing is and why it matters • Root account vs IAM user • Enabling MFA and basic account security • AWS Budgets and cost alerts • Zero-spend and monthly budget concepts • Prompting and prompt chaining • Building a no-code AI prototype using PartyRock • Creating and using Amazon S3 buckets • Uploading and managing files in S3 • Understanding public vs private access 🛠 AWS Services IAM · AWS Budgets · PartyRock · Amazon S3 🏗️ What you'll build By the end of Day 1, you will have: ✅ A secured AWS account ✅ Budget alerts configured ✅ A working AI Study Buddy prototype in PartyRock ✅ An Amazon S3 bucket ready for the next stage 👨‍💻 Who can attend? Beginner-friendly. No prior AWS experience is required.
