How to process Cornell 7
About this event
Recent news surrounding a sexual assault case involving a Cornell University student has been deeply disturbing and painful for many women. The case has also prompted renewed conversations about sexual violence, accountability, and the experiences of survivors. For many of us, stories like this can bring up anger, grief, sadness, fear, or even memories of our own experiences. This gathering is a safe space for women to come together, share what we are feeling, and listen to one another. There is no expectation to share anything personal. You are welcome to simply listen, talk, ask questions, or be with others who understand. We hope to create a space where we can process these difficult conversations together, think about what they mean for us and for the future, and remind each other that we do not have to carry these feelings alone. We will also share resources for anyone who would like additional support.
