6 to 7 Mile Suburban Hike - Moderate / Advanced Level with 600+ ft of Elevation

About this event

We will be doing a fun quick paced suburban hike on the streets (sidewalks) & hills of Roslyn, PA (Abington Township). We'll get in about 6 - 7 miles and 600 + ft of elevation gain at a decent pace (apprx. 3.2-3.5 mph) Moderate - Advanced level. There will only be one or two quick stops. This hike will concentrate more on Distance and less on Elevation Please try to be on time as a courtesy to the others. I can not respond to messages once we start. If running late send me a message before the start so we can determine a spot for you to meet us. This hike will be on paved surfaces, so it is OK to wear sneakers or trail running shoes. Definitely recommend hydrating before the hike and bring plenty of water and a snack. Be prepared to walk fast! There are street lights, but you may want to bring a flashlight or headlamp as it will be getting dark towards the end of the hike. Well behaved Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a static length leash at all times. GUEST and ATTENDANCE POLICY: All attendees must be members of Outdoor Adventure Friends.
