About this event

You keep hearing you should be using AI. Nobody has shown you how, and most of what is written about it assumes you already work in technology. This is 90 minutes to fix that, live on Zoom, with time afterwards for questions. I show each step live, and you follow along on your own laptop as we go, so you leave with it set up rather than just notes. WHEN Every Tuesday, 6:00 to 7:30 PM Pacific, starting October 6. WHAT WE COVER What these tools actually do, in plain English. The three jobs in a small business worth handing over first. Writing prompts that work, and why most people get poor results. How to tell when AI is confidently wrong, which is the most important skill here. You will see the same request run three times, a reminder to a customer who is 30 days late, and get three very different answers depending on what the AI is told. Once you see it, you will never write a prompt the same way again. YOU WILL LEAVE WITH A working account set up and configured, five prompts written for your own business, and a one-page checklist for spotting bad AI output. WHO IT IS FOR Owner-operated businesses and small teams. No technical background needed. If you can use email, you can keep up. If you work in technology and are interested in AI certification, see our free Intro to CPMAI on Wednesdays instead. WHAT TO BRING A laptop, and one real customer email or quote from your business. Free tools only, nothing to buy for this session. HOW TO REGISTER Seats are limited to 25. Register on Eventbrite and your Zoom link will be emailed to you: [NEW EVENTBRITE LINK] Run by Henry Ashar: twenty years in enterprise technology at Deloitte, Bandai Namco and Virgin Galactic, founder of NILA, an AI intake platform used by CPA firms, and PMI-CPMAI certified. Ashar Advisory provides technology and operations advisory only. Nothing here is tax, legal, or financial advice.
