About this event

❄️ In the traditional Chinese solar calendar, "Cold Dew" (Han Lu 寒露 ) is the 17th solar term. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is the moment to store your energy deep in the Kidneys – your body's battery. Think of a tree in autumn: the leaves fall, but the roots grow stronger. If we store well now, we enter winter with warmth, resilience, and a strong immune system. If we don't, we may find ourselves catching colds easily, feeling exhausted, or struggling with low mood. This season class is about gathering your energy inward – not pushing, not forcing, but quietly building your reserves. Cold Dew session is part of our Autumn Qigong Serie (Gather · Nourish · Balance · Store). End of Heat (处暑) 8/23-9/6 • Gather Release dampness, draw energy inward. White Dew (白露) 9/7-9/22 • Nourish Moisturize Lungs, fight dryness. Autumn Equinox (秋分) 9/23-10/7 • Balance Harmonize Yin & Yang, ground for winter. Cold Dew (寒露) 10/8-22 • Store Deepen Kidney Qi, prepare for Winter Join one, two, or all. Each session stands alone – but together, they guide you through the full autumn transition. ___ 🤔 Is this for me? This class is for you if: • You feel the cold more than you used to – cold hands, cold feet, cold lower back • You want to build your immune system before winter arrives • You're curious about TCM seasonal wisdom but want it practical, not mystical • You simply need 60 minutes to slow down and come back to your center 💬 What to bring / prepare • Loose, comfortable clothing • A bottle of warm water/tea • Warm socks – keeping your feet warm is essential in Cold Dew • A jacket or shawl – we'll be still during standing meditation 🌟 What will you take away? • A technique to protect your lungs as the air turns cold • A kidney and heel-raising routine to keep your lower back warm and your energy stable • Understanding of why "storing" matters in autumn – and how to do it • A deep sense of inner warmth – the kind that comes from knowing your roots are strong • Standing meditation (Zhan Zhuang 站桩) to ground and calm No experience needed. All movements are gentle. 🪷 🛎ONGONG CLASS (join anytime) • Date: TUES & THUR • Time: TUES(3.30pm), THUR(4pm) • Fee: 150rmb/session (2 sessions for 1st timers only) 🎖INTENSIVE • Date: MON-FRI (3 times/week) • Time: 1.5hr/session x 6 sessions • Fee: 800rmb 🧚‍♂️ONE-TO-ONE (private session) • Date: MON-FRI • Time: 1.5hr/session • Fee: 280rmb ——— ✨ Led by certified instructor (20+ yrs of teaching Qigong). ✨Taught in English. ✨5 spots to keep the class initmate & personal. __ Breathe.
