HH Explorer: Takoda Rooftop (Shaw)

It should be nice out on Friday, so rain or shine, how about another rooftop? \*\*DISCLAIMER\*\* Please do not tell the greeter/wait staff you're looking for a Meetup group. They are unaware of our events, and will not know where to send you. If you come, check the event comments for location details. Event hosts will post where we are so it's easy to spot us (as if a large gathering of people isn't enough of a hint already). \*\*\* Takoda in Shaw is a very metro-friendly rooftop bar, complete with a covering in case it rains, as well as an small outdoor patio. If you're familiar with Takoda in Navy Yard, this is their sister location. Happy Hour menu has some snacks ranging from $6-9 (mostly fries), and a plethora of drink specials, with $7 rail drinks, $6-9 beers, and $8 wine, cocktails on tap, and frozen cocktails. We can start the night up there, get some fresh air, and if it gets too crammed, there's plenty of other spots in the area, including another rooftop right across the street (801 Restaurant). No shortage of options for a Plan B! Metro, and then walk north up 7th St. NW 2 blocks, and turn left onto Florida Ave. NW. Takoda Rooftop will be on the north side of Florida Ave. See map location below. \#\#\# 🅿️Parking: Typical of DC, each street is different. 7th St. SW does have metered parking, but it is 2 hour max until 6:30pm, and then 3.5 hour max until 10pm. The neighboring streets all have curb parking on some level, just be mindful of signs and times/max parking limits.
