About this event

Child (9 - 12). Want to cruise down Edmonton’s streets with a 100% personalized name plate for your bike? How about making a palm sized model of your dream house? Maybe you’re interested in mars bases, game tokens, or a trophy to tell the world how awesome you are… the sky is the limit with 3D printing! In this class, EPL staff will guide you through designing a 3D printable model in TinkerCAD –we’ll learn what works and what doesn't when designing for the 3D printing process and work on a project. EPL will 3D print each participant’s design for free, making it available for pick up at your local branch. Recommended for kids 9 to 12. This class is designed to introduce 3D printing to kids, and is meant be taken once per child. Priority will be given to children who have not yet taken the class. If you would like to continue building your 3D printing skills, you can check out Advanced 3D Printing for Youth. This class is limited to 10 participants. Registration is required.
