Learn more in the discussion: • The Eleven 'Clues' to Self Knowledge: Looking at the clues to Self Knowledge available to our everyday experience and which can lead us to it. 1. Our sense of ‘I’ has remained the same 2. To be aware is effortless 3. When we stop thought, what remains? Nothing! 4. We experience the three states: waking, dream and deep sleep 5. Who lights up our dreams? 6. Awareness entwines thoughts to make Memories 7. Composed of many parts – we feel we are just one composite unit 8. A distinct feeling of us being ‘within’ the body 9. Any experience can be objectified completely 10. We always feel we are aware, never ‘unaware’ 11. To know ourselves all we need is awareness These clues are direct pointers towards the presence of the Self and can never be formulated into theories. They are analytical and inferential tools to dive within ourselves and know the Self. Teachings.
