AWS SBG: CODE-A-THON - I

About this event

Before AWS Codeathon 2K26, GIST AWS SBG is running a workshop to get you cloud ready. Not another boring lecture. An actual hands on session. This one pulls together everything from our previous sessions into one quick recap, so whether you caught all of them or none of them, you'll walk in on the same page as everyone else. If you've been hearing about AWS and cloud computing everywhere but never really got your hands dirty with it, this is the one you've been waiting for. No prior experience needed. Just show up curious. Expect a rapid fire run through the core AWS services like EC2, S3, and Lambda. Explained fast, explained simple, nothing left confusing, and tied straight back to what you'll actually be building in the Codeathon. You'll walk away knowing exactly which tools to reach for, why they matter, and how to start using them today. Cloud isn't optional anymore. It's the baseline every engineer is expected to know. Open to all students. Come curious, leave ready to build. Spots are limited, so register now.
