Chit Chat & Chill x Sois & Shutters Chinatown Vegetarian Festival Photowalk Join us for an evening photowalk through Bangkok Chinatown during the Vegetarian Festival, followed by dinner and a casual photo debrief at Cholos. Who it’s for: Beginners, hobbyists, and photo enthusiasts. What to bring: Any camera you have, smartphone, DSLR, mirrorless, film, or compact. No professional gear needed. Meeting Point: Wat Mangkon MRT Station (Exit 3) Date & Time: Sunday, Oct 17 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM What to Expect 5:00 PM – Meet & Quick Intro: Meet outside Exit 3 for a brief intro to street photography basics, festival etiquette, and a couple of fun creative prompts to look for in the crowd. 5:15 PM – 6:45 PM – Photowalk: Explore the vibrant sights of Yaowarat: yellow festival flags, street vendors, steam, lanterns, and evening neon lights. 7:00 PM onward – Debrief and dinner @ Cholos Chinatown: Grab food/drinks, show your 1–2 favorite shots from the walk, share tips, and hang out. Important Details Dinner: Food and drinks at Cholos (everyone covers their own tab directly with the venue). Pack Light: Yaowarat will be very busy; avoid bulky backpacks or large tripods. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. RSVP Limit: Capped at 20 participants so we can easily stick together and chat. Please update your RSVP if your plans change.
