About this event

⚠️ IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTICE (YOU HAVE TO JOIN THROUGH LUMA TO BE REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT (LINK PROVIDED). Understanding the EU AI Act risk tiers is one thing. Applying them to a real AI system is another. This 2-hour live workshop is the practical continuation of the EU AI Act Risk Tiers session. It's for anyone who wants to move from knowing the tiers to confidently classifying AI systems themselves. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Work through real-world scenarios using a digital classification tool • Tackle the edge cases that trip most teams up, from exceptions to role changes • Compare and defend your reasoning with others in small groups • Classify an AI system from your own work, with coaching on your reasoning This isn't a lecture, and I won't hand you answers. You do the reasoning, and I'll coach you through it. You'll leave able to classify AI systems with confidence on your own. WHO IT'S FOR Compliance, legal, risk, product, data and tech professionals who need to assess AI systems under the EU AI Act. Some familiarity with the risk tiers is recommended. Attending the earlier free session is ideal but not essential. WHAT TO BRING • A laptop (the tool runs in your browser) • An AI system from your work to classify. Keep the details general or anonymised; no confidential information needed. DETAILS • Tuesday 10 November, 11am Irish time (GMT) • 2 hours, live online • Small group: maximum 15 places • Launch price: €69 Places are limited to keep the session hands-on, so book early to secure yours. Refund policy: Full refund up to 72 hours before the session. This workshop is educational and does not constitute legal advice. Hosted by Hycentina Ifeoma Ekwerike\, AIGP \| MSc
