FEATURED SPEAKER: Thomas Babicz Join us Wednesday October 14th in our NEW location at the KOWORX building on the island to hear our Vice President, Thomas Babicz, who was born in Gdańsk, Poland, under Soviet occupation. He grew up in extreme poverty and lived through the shortages of communist economy. Thomas will give a short history of communism, explain with a simple analysis why the system would never work, and then give a personal account of what daily life under communism was actually like.
